Distant Shores Inner Circle - Crew


Do you enjoy the Distant Shores sailing experience but wish there were more frequent updates and videos? Are you a regular Distant Shores viewer who wishes we could produce more sailing videos?

As more and more people look for their entertainment outside of the traditional TV spectrum, we would like to connect more directly with the group of you who have been our core supporters over the years. And we promise our videos will provide more of what you enjoy about Distant Shores - sailing to exotic locations and experiencing what its like to explore foreign waters, and distant shores!

Producing a broadcast TV show means it sometimes takes a few months from shooting until the finished program is completed to broadcast standards and ready for airing. But we have received many comments that people would like more immediate gratification!! Why not?! :-)

So we had a brilliant idea!! We always get scenes edited shortly after shooting, but the final show isn’t ready until weeks (or months) later. If we can spring for some higher bandwidth internet we ought to be able to upload segments early. We also plan to broadcast regular cruise updates for the “Inner Circle” in the form of a Google Hangout shot in the interesting locations we find ourselves cruising!
